It seems like there are diets, people being bullied about their weight, and young girls dealing with their self-image everywhere you look online these days.
So, here's what I'm going to say first. If you want to lose weight, do it because you care about yourself.
You should lose weight because you want to be healthy, have more energy, keep up with your kids, and be the best version of yourself.
Don't do it for other people, and don't try to hate yourself for being skinny. Start by accepting where you are, liking yourself right now, and knowing that if you love who you are, you can keep trying to be better and feel better.
I try to drink every day as much as half my body weight in ounces. So, for example, I try to drink 75 ounces of water a day because I weigh 150 pounds.
I hate going to the gym. My oldest son is going to school to become a personal trainer, so I have a gazelle and a treadmill. I have everything I need to get a good workout in, but I hate it.
Because my husband works mornings, this one was hard for me. He gets home at midnight, which is the end of his day, so he wants something to eat.
And I've always liked to add a big spoonful of sugar, cream, or a tasty flavored creamer.
I love sweets a lot and don't have much self-control. If I have cookies at home, I will probably eat them. I've also been known to eat a midnight snack or two, as I said before.
