Step By Step Guide To Remove Gel Nail Polish At Home

Step 1: Buff

These can work some muscles because you literally have to rub the color off your nails, which is a little intense if you were planned a self-care/relaxation day at the spa.

To begin, you'll need to file your nails so they're all the same size and shape.

After that, begin buffing by running the file across your nails to remove the top coat and reveal your naked nails, free of gel polish. So, let's get right to it and get to work.

Step 2:  Soak it up

Now we're going to emulsify all of that product with the correct instruments, which aren't anything sharp but things you probably see and use on a regular basis, such as nail polish remover, cotton balls, and tin foil.

To begin, wet the cotton balls in ordinary nail paint remover, then place them on your nails and wrap them in tin foil. Wrap a heated cloth around your fingertips to speed up the soaking process.

And voila, you've mastered the 'how to remove gel polish at home' technique with only a little patience! That's fantastic.

Step 3: Peel off

The gel will immediately peel off your nails after soaking them in acetone. To remove the remainder of the color from stubborn locations, use a cuticle pusher gently.

After that, apply acetone, cuticle oil, and buff, and you're ready to start a new manicure!

If not, give your nails a chance to breathe and rest. After all, a little breathing space is required after holding the weight of unwavering polish.
